Criminal Convictions

• Sostenes Alberto Aparicio II, 22, of Crescent City, was convicted of inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and was sentenced to three years of probation, one day in jail and a fine of $920.

• Stephen Eric Barnes, 38, of Crescent City, was convicted of stalking and threatening crime with intent to terrorize and battery on spouse/cohabitant and was sentence to two years in prison and a fine of $510.

• Pete Patrick Dizick, 31, of     Crescent City, was convicted of violating community supervision and was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

• Lacey Blue Hight, 34, of Crescent  City, was convicted of wt/reckless driving, four counts of driving on a suspended license with a prior, three counts of driving on a suspended license and two counts of failure to appear in court and was sentenced to one year of probation, 180 days in jail and fines of $2,593.

• Lisa Marie Hunter, 33,  Crescent City, was convicted of inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and was sentenced to three years of probation, 16 days in jail and a fine of $920.

• Joshua Herbert Taylor, 27, of Crescent City, was convicted of violating parole and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

• Deborah Ann Wettengel, 38, of Crescent City, was convicted of possession of a dangerous drug/controlled substance and was sentenced to one year of probation, one day in jail and a fine of $946.

• Derrick Edward Willis, 37, of Crescent City, was convicted of DUI with prior and driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to one year in jail and a fine of $2,822. In a second case, he was convicted of three counts of violating probation and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. In a third case, he was convicted of inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and a fine of $920.

• Thomas Jack Young, 35, of Crescent  City, was convicted on charges of driving on a suspended license (two times), theft/larceny, driving on a suspended license with a prior and failure to appear in court (four times) and was sentenced to one year of probation, 60 days in jail and fines of $3,635.
