September 24 through September 30

Jerald Thomas Jacobs, 61, of Crescent City, was convicted of driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to one year of probation and a fine of $1,454.

Chad Everett Lovewell, 47, of Smith River, was convicted of DUI and was sentenced to three years of probation, two days in jail and a fine of $1,864.

Cody Miles, 21, of Crescent City, was convicted of DUI with blood alcohol above .15 and was sentenced to four days in jail and a fine of $1,864. In a second case, he was convicted of inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and battery and was sentenced to three years of probation, 12 days in jail and a fine of $1,260.

James Allen Miller, 31, of Crescent City, was convicted of battery on spouse/cohabitant and was sentenced to 57 days in jail and a fine of $460. In a second case, he was convicted of contempt of court and was sentenced to five years of probation and a fine of $315.

John Phillip Sanchez, 59, of Crescent City, was convicted of battery on spouse/cohabitant and was sentenced to 90 days in jail and a fine of $920.
