DAR members to support Wreaths Across America

In observance of Independence Day, the Del Norte Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will be promoting Wreaths Across America for placement on veterans’ gravesites in remembrance and honor for their service and sacrifice to the country.

The wreaths are placed during mid-December each year and remains throughout the holiday season. Wreath sponsorships cost $15 each.

The Del Norte Chapters of the DAR will have a display set up at the Crescent City Safeway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 2, 3 and 4.

Local residents are encouraged to stop by, say hello and see the display.
