Del Norte Senior Talyn Hodson was crowned 1st Alternate Dairy Princess for the California Milk Advisory Board, District 1.
Grace Scilacci, Fortuna High School Senior was crowned the 2024 Dairy Princess and Mariah Bravo 2nd Alternate Dairy Princess for District 1, comprising Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
Talyn is the daughter of Michelle and Richard Wetherill. Talyn plans to study Forensics at College of the Redwoods. The 1st Alternate ambassador works part-time at Alexandre Dairy Farm and grew up on the Wetherell Dairy Farm. She’s a member of DNHS Future Farmers of America, the Del Norte 4-H Club and the Warrior Yearbook Staff.
The contest was held May 10, in Fortuna.
