Crescent City Emblem Club #175, member Esther Cupp conducted a patriotic lesson to 172 Crescent Elk 8th Graders, May 30, at the school auditorium.
Esther identified the nine different flags from the Colonial period to the POW flag a identify over the And present day 50 star and America its rich history.
The flags of each era were borrowed from the Brookings Emblem Club with thanks and deep gratitude.
The motto of this event was entitled “Through the storm cloud, we gather.”
