Grange Co-op offers $14,000 in scholarships

Nine scholarships totaling $14,000 from Grange Co-op are being offered to local high school seniors.

“Grange Co-op strives to assist young adults in our communities to excel and take the next step in their future endeavors,” stated Demetria Marical, youth and community outreach coordinator with Grange Co-op.

Students from several local counties have been asked to apply.

“We have not received any applications currently from Del Norte County,” said Jason Wall, Grange Co-op’s marketing manager. “We have a large number of our customers who travel from Del Norte to shop at our Grants Pass store and want to ensure the opportunity to have our customers submit an application.”

To qualify for a scholarship, eight of which are for $1,500 and another for $2,000, students must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and submit an application by Jan. 31. Students can apply by visiting scholarship-program.
