Hit and Run Fatality suspect Alexandra Diehl will be back in Court June 12, at 8:30am, Dept 1, when Superior Court Judge Karen Olson kyboshed a plea agreement for Alexandra Danielle Diehl, 33.
80 year old Peter Jun Ming Nip was struck in a hit and run collision at the intersection of Madison Ave and Northcrest Dr. December 4, last year.
According to the CHP Report, Nip was walking to his home, in a marked crosswalk while pushing a shopping cart when a Nissan Rogue driven by Diehl struck him. The incident occurred about 6pm. Nip was rushed to Sutter Coast Hospital when he expired about 9pm.
Two other vehicles travelling on Northcrest, a Toyota 4 Runner struck the cart, and white Kia was unable to avoid hitting Nip and could not avoid further contact.
Diehl was arrested about 8:30pm at her home and charged with Vehicular Manslaughter, Hit and Run and leaving the scene, all felonies.
