Holiday Nights and Festive lights was the theme of the December 6th Parade through downtown Crescent City. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere we go.
The iconic song written by Mason City, Iowan Meredith Wilson in 1951 while visiting Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and crooned by Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Michael Buble and many other notables. The crisp Autumn air was vibrant and alive as onlookers embraced the Holiday season unfurling.
Crescent City and Del Norte officially welcomed in the Holiday Season with its Annual Christmas Light and Holiday Market.
Here are the Parade and Float Award recognitions. Large crowds lined the streets for the joyous occasion
• 1st Place, Best Motorized Entry: Potter Estate Group
• 1st Place, Best Walking Entry: Crescent City Cowgirls
• 1st Place, Best Health and Safety Entry: Crescent City Fire Department
Also recognized and appreciated were Scottie Phogography, the Blue Denim Band, Judges Robyn Holt from Western Valley Insurance, Dawn Harper from Your Salon, Kevin Hartwick of Crescent City Rotary and Christina Jones from Elk Valley Rancheria.
