10 students, two staff and Rikuzentakata City staff have arrived in Crescent City as part of the Kamome Foundation and Del Norte Japanese Club welcomed the exchange group.
Kamome president Bill Steven expressed his delight to observe the sister city arrival, post Covid era.
Here’s the schedule for the students:
• Tuesday, Students will visit Del Norte High classrooms, Ocean World and attend the girls’ basketball game, Tuesday night.
• Wednesday, students will lunch at CC Diner, visit the Grove of Titans and attend High School Winter Court.
• Thursday, students will be on campus and spend time with host families.
• Friday, students will depart from the Del Norte Airport, en route to the Bay area and returning to Japan.
