Last week, Ariel Kelley announced the endorsement of Assembly Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry.

“I’m so proud to endorse Ariel Kelley for California State Assembly. As a mom, Mayor, and non-profit executive, she knows what it takes to build bridges and get things done,” said Aguiar Curry.

“Through fires, floods, and a pandemic, I’ve had the chance to see how effective she is at responding to the needs of the community. Whether it’s reducing homelessness by 60%, delivering on childcare for working families, or leading the development of a bold new climate strategy — her leadership made Healdsburg into a model city.”

“She’s the partner I need in the State Assembly — and there’s no doubt she’s the best candidate to deliver for the North Coast,” said Aguiar-Curry.

“Whether it is bringing broadband to our rural communities, building housing for seniors and families, or championing local industry, the Majority Leader is leading in her district and in Sacramento. I am grateful for her support and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work alongside her in the Assembly,” said Ariel Kelley.

The Assembly Majority Leader joins a growing list of legislative endorsements for the Mayor’s campaign for AD-02, including the Democratic Legislative Women’s Caucus, State Senators Scott Weiner, Nancy Skinner, Angelique Ashby, Marie Alvarado-Gil, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer Kahan, and many more.
