Dogs of Del Norte sponsored an adoption event for Man’s Best Friend, last Saturday.
The 2nd annual adoption event was a big success in finding homes for these canines in an extremely over-crowded animal shelter.
Funds were collected with the sale of raffle tickets. Additionally, there was an unannounced donation event for the sale of guitars from Pelican Bay State Prison
Alissa from Dogs of Del Norte 508 Dogs have been placed in Del Norte home over the year 2024. Currently, the pound has 30-40 dogs available for adoption.
No dogs went to their new homes, this week-end. Those wishing to adopt filed the appropriate paperwork subject to review by Dogs of Del Norte.
Tom Hutzell displayed several of the PBSP guitars which raised $14,000, year.
Special thanks and appreciation goes to Alissa, Dogs of Del Norte adoption coordinator, Felicia Murphy and Mimi Stephen’s of Bayside Realty, Eileen Bennett, supervisor of Animal Control, Camp Barry Dog Rescue and absolutely wonderful sunny weather for the outdoor event.
The event raised $1400 and lots of happy new parents for the benefit of Dogs of Del Norte.
