Road Work Advisory

Caltrans is announcing major roadwork scheduled Friday, November 15, through Thursday, November 21.

Caltrans advises motorists to drive with caution when approaching work areas and to be prepared to stop at traffic control stations.

The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change.

Del Norte County

Route 101 (5.3) – Frontier Cable has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Ehlers Way on Friday, November 15 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P101HA

Route 101 (14.9/15.3) – Construction in the Last Chance Grade area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101AA

Route 199 (33.5) – The Collier Rest Area will be fully closed for sewer work. Travelers should utilize an alternate rest area. LC#C199RA

Humboldt County

Route 36 (21.8) – Guardrail work east of Golden Gate Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C36BA

Route 36 (31.4) – Wall work near the McClellan Mountain Summit will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C36TA

Route 36 (36/40.4) – Federal work near Buck Mountain Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 30-minute delays. LC#C36KA

Route 96 (12.3/45) – Guardrail work from the Trinity River Bridge to the Salmon River Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C96CA

Route 101 (14.3) – PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work on the Dean Creek Bridge southbound offramp on Wednesday, November 20. A full closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#P101HA

Route 101 (39.2/48.7) – Drainage work from the Englewood Park Undercrossing to the Eel River Overhead Bridge will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101IF

Route 101 (77.1/77.4) – Shoulder work from Hawthorn Street to 15th Street in Eureka will continue through Friday, November 15. Lane closures will be in effect in both directions from 8 p.m.to 6 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101ND

Route 255 (5.3) – PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work north of the Miranda Bridge on Tuesday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P254CA

Route 255 (8.1) – Michaels Pipeline has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work north of the McDaniel Slough on Friday, November 15. A southbound lane closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P255CA

Route 299 (5.3/5.5) – Bridge work from the Blue Lake Overhead Bridge to the Blue Lake Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. When ramps are closed motorists should use an alternate ramp. LC#C299BA

Route 299 (8.5/9) – Pavement work about four miles east of Blue Lake will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C299EB

Lake County

Route 20 (0.7/45.2) – Striping operation from Blue Lakes Road to Colusa County Line will continue from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20DA

Route 20 (19/20) – Lake Special District has been granted an encroachment permit for emergency work west of Laurel Dell Drive to east of Rosemont Drive on Friday, November 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P20AA

Route 20 (24.9/25.9) – PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Mitchell Road to Clear Lakes Oaks East Wednesday, November 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P20BA

Route 20 (30.4/32.8) – Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20EB

Route 20 (31.6/46.4) – Tree work from Route 53 South to the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20FA

Route 29 (0/52.5) – Striping operation from the Napa County Line to JCT 29, end of Route 20 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C29AA

Route 29 (20.3/20.5) – Redwood Credit Union has been granted an encroachment permit for shoulder work from Route 53 to Morgan Valley Road Friday, November 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays. LC#P29CA

Route 29 (41.4/42.6) – Bridge work will occur from the Lakeport Blvd Overcrossing to the 11th Street Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays. LC#C29CA

Route 29 (42.6/43.7) – Bridge work from Hill Road East Overcrossing to 11th Street Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays. LC#C29CA

Route 29 (45.1/46.6) – Bridge work from Park Way Overcrossing to Hill Road Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays. LC#C29CA

Route 29 (47.3/47.8) – Bridge work from the Reinking Undercrossing to Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C29CA

Route 29 (47.8/49.2) – Bridge work from the Robinson Rancheria Road to Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C29CA

Route 29 (48.5/52.5) – Striping operation from south of Robinson Rancheria Road to south of Route 20 will continue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays. LC#C29AA

Route 175 (3/4) – Emergency work east of Mathews Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C175HA

Route 175 (8.1/8.6) – Tree work from North Route 29 to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C175CA

Route 175 (20.7/27.7) – Tree work from Arroyo Vista Road to Santa Clara Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C175BA

Route 175 (24.9/27.5) – Highway construction from Putah Creek Bridge 14 21 to the Dry Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C175GA

Mendocino County

Route 1 (22.7/24.5) – Bridge work from Alder Creek Beach to Irish Beach Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C1DA

Route 1 (40.1/40.2) – Bridge work from Navarro River Junction 128 East will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C1DA

Route 1 (43/43.5) – Bridge work from Salmon Creek to the Spring Grove Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C1DA

Route 1 (54.7/54.9) – Bridge work from Caspar Creek Bridge to Caspar Vista Point will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to midnight weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C1DA

Route 1 (75) – Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect.

Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C1TA

Route 20 (16.5) – Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#T20DA

Route 20 (31.5/31.6) – Bridge work from Broaddus Creek Bridge 10-107 to the Broaddus Railroad Crossing will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20EA

Route 20 (33.2/40.9) – Striping operation from Willits RR Crossing to Cold Creek Bridge #5-10-44 will continue. Moving lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20DA

Route 101 (26.6/27) – Bridge work from the Ackerman Creek Bridge to the Hensley Creek Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect in both directions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101KA

Route 101 (27/27.4) – Bridge work from the Hensley Creek Undercrossing to the Lake Mendocino Drive Undercrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101KA

Route 101 (32.6) – Bridge work and inspections near the West Road Overcrossing will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C101KA

Route 101 (34.5/39.4) – Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101EF

Route 101 (93/93.6) – Bridge work from the CA Division of Forestry to the Jitney Gulch Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C101KA

Route 101 (95.8/96.5) – Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#T101GA

Route 128 (28.2/28/4) – Wylatti has been granted an encroachment permit for paving from Wendling Street to east of Salamini Road on Friday, November 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P128AA

Route 128 (28.2/28.4) – Bridge work from Anderson Creek to Mountain View Road will continue from 5 a.m. to midnight weekdays. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C128AA
