Redwood National and State Parks announces the opening of the submission window for the Fall Artist-in-Residence Program. The Program invites artists of all disciplines to apply for the opportunity to immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring landscapes of the ancient redwood forests. The submission ends May 31 or until 25 Applications have been received.
This unique residency, coordinated by the National Park Service, California State Park and the Redwood Parks Conservancy offers selected artists will live and work within the park’s diverse ecosystems and cultural heritage sites from August 15 to September 15.
The range of disciplines includes writers, sculptor, photographers, painters, dancers, cinematographer, musicians, composers and writers, visual and performing artists.
Selected artists will receive up to $5,000 to assist with travel, materials and other logistical needs. The donated artwork will donated to the Redwood Parks Conservancy, March 1, 2026.
