Wednesday 9/1:

  • At 2:21 a.m. Del Norte Ambulance responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on US 101 mile marker 20 involving a log truck near the 40 mph curve
  • At 8:32 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a male subject carrying and swinging an axe on the 1400 block of Parkway.
  • At 8:49 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Arnett for a report of a man’s wife destroying his shed, and threatening him.
  • At 10:26 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to Gasquet for a report of shots heard on the river bar.
  • At 1:22 p.m. Smith River Fire responded to the 12700 block of South Indian Road for a report of an abandoned house fire.
  • At 1:35 p.m. police responded to Front Street for a report of a male subject swinging around a sword.
  • At 9:41 p.m. police responded to the 600 block of 5th Street for a report of a person being chased by people in a vehicle.

Thursday 9/2:

  • At 1:08 a.m. police responded to the 400 block of US 101 for a report that unknown persons chasing the caller earlier were trying to break into his hotel room through the roof.
  • At 4:09 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2100 block of Scott Ln for a report of persons on the front porch trying to get in through the window.
  • At 5:38 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to MP 3.8 on US 199 in Hiouchi for a report of a man on the side of the road.
  • At 9:41 a.m. Crescent City Fire responded to the 100 block of Kerby Street for a report of heavy black smoke.
  • At 11:37 a.m. police responded to the 1400 block of US 101 for a report from OnStar of the location of a stolen vehicle.
  • At 1:23 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Bolen Lane for a report of a person’s neighbor’s dogs eating his chickens.
  • At 1:27 p.m. police responded to the 800 block of Northcrest Drive for a report of a male refusing to wear a mask and throwing chairs.
  • At 4:45 p.m. sheriff’s deputies performed a welfare check at Old Mill and Northcrest on a subject who had not moved for most of the day.

Friday 9/3:

  • At 3:07 a.m. police responded to the 400 block of M Street for a report of two females with a shopping cart full of stolen items.
  • At 9:49 a.m. Crescent City Fire responded to the 100 block of Scenic Creek Drive for a report of a fire.
  • At 12:21 p.m. police responded to 3rd and C Street for multiple reports that a male subject was walking around with a bat looking for an officer.
  • At 1:53 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2100 block of Harmony Lane for a report that a cardboard box was in the caller's backyard and she thinks someone is sleeping on it.
  • At 3:34 p.m. police performed a welfare check at 3rd and E Street on a subject walking around and swinging something.
  • At 6:06 p.m. Crescent City Fire responded to 4th and I street for a report of a bonfire in the area.
  • At 8:57 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 400 block of Vance Ave for a report of subjects in a green truck causing a disturbance with hotel guests.

Saturday 9/4:

  • At 4:22 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2400 block of Lake Earl Drive for a report of an intoxicated adult son trying to break the windows out of his parent’s home.
  • At 6:13 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 300 block of Indian Road for a report of a person being harassed by people around her vehicle.
  • At 7:22 a.m. police responded to the 100 block of H Street for a report of a vehicle stolen sometime during the night.
  • At 7:32 a.m. sheriff’s deputies returned to the 2400 block of Lake Earl Drive for a report that the son was breaking down the door.
  • At 3:58 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of US 101 for a report of a male subject lying in the parking lot and the building was unsecured.
  • At 5:09 p.m. police responded to 3rd and B Street for a report that six to eight hispanic subjects went into an abandoned building looking suspicious.
  • At 6:28 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of 5th Street for a report of a juvenile fight. Parents arrived and were causing a disturbance.
  • At 11:14 p.m. sheriff’s deputies performed a welfare check on the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive for a male subject slumped over his steering wheel.
  • At 11:23 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of Harding Street for a report of juveniles in a black car driving around shooting at the caller with a wrist rocket.

Sunday 9/5:

  • At 12:22 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to US 199 and 17N49 for a report of a male and female in an altercation on the side of the road.
  • At 1:59 a.m. police were flagged down for a report of a male in the area causing a disturbance.
  • At 3:34 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2100 block of Old Mill Road for a report of an assault with a knife.
  • At 8:26 a.m. police responded to a report of fire behind a business on the 200 block of US 101.
  • At 11:45 a.m. Del Norte Ambulance responded to Pala Road in Fort Dick for a person trampled by a horse.
  • At 1:41 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Indian Road for a report of a person finding a backpack full of other people’s mail.
  • At 6:52 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1200 block of US 101 for a report of smoke seen in the area.

Monday 9/6:

  • At 3:25 a.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the B Street Pier for a report of a small child crying.
  • At 5:10 a.m. sheriff’s deputies were hailed on Jordan Street for a report of a female being harassed by another person.
  • At 8:18 a.m. Del Norte Ambulance responded to Pebble Beach and Washington Blvd for a report of a person covered in cuts and waving down traffic.
  • At 1:13 p.m. police responded to the 600 block of L Street for a report that a male subject battered the caller’s sister.
  • At 2:24 p.m. sheriff’s deputies responded to the 300 block of Sunrise Avenuefor a report of a yard worker being attacked and tools stolen.
  • At 4:55 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of US 101 for a non-injury motor vehicle accident.
  • At 10:45 p.m. Klamath Fire responded to the 18100 block of US 101 for a trailer on fire and exploding at the ball field.
