Wednesday, Dec. 23

• At 12:02 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Salmonberry Court after a caller reported someone was trying to break into her home.

• At 8:04 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Highway 101 after a caller reported someone did a burnout in the parking lot and was driving recklessly down the highway.

• At 9:50 a.m., police responded to the 1200 block of Marshall Street after a caller said a resident was making a disturbance and threatening to burn the building down.

• At 10:21 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 400 block of Pebble Beach Drive after a caller reported finding mail they believed was stolen in their yard.

• At 11:39 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Old Mill and Northcrest Drive after a caller reported someone was lying on the ground and had not moved all day.

• At 12:06 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 400 block of Shoreline after a caller said someone was looking into her neighbor’s windows.

• At 1:35 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Church Tree and Elk Valley Road after a caller said someone had been shooting at elk on their property.

• At 1:37 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3500 block of Railroad Avenue after a caller said someone was threatening him over a vehicle.

• At 3:40 p.m., the fire department responded to Kings Valley and Wonderstump after California Highway Patrol reported there was a vehicle smoking in the ditch after an accident.

• At 3:46 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Highway 101 after a caller said she was attacked by her neighbor and had to use pepper spray to protect herself.

• At 4:08 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Starfish Way after a caller said someone she had paid to move a trailer for her had kept it and was renting it out.

• At 5:08 p.m., the Crescent City Fire Department responded to the 1300 block of Northcrest Drive after a caller said a transformer was smoking and sparking.

• At 5:28 p.m., a police officer in the 300 block of H Street was flagged down and told a building looked like it was broken into.

• At 7:13 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of Highway 101 after a caller said there was a man lying next to his building and he wanted them removed.

• At 7:34 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Leclair and Bertsch after caller reported hearing a loud explosion in the area.

Thursday, Dec. 24

• At 8:04 a.m., police responded to the 800 block of 3rd Street after a caller asked for help removing two transients sleeping by their building.

• At 8:22 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1200 block of Murphy Avenue after a caller said man she has a restraining order against was at her home with a gun.

• At 10:27 a.m., sheriff’s deputies received a call from a man saying he was on a vessel in the ocean that was taking on water.

• At 10:28 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Highway 101 after receiving multiple calls reporting a person walking down the road in a hospital gown.

• At 1:01 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of M Street after a caller reported two cell phones were stolen.

• At 1:03 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of Highway 101 after a caller said he saw a person punching a child in a car seat.

• At 1:18 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Requa Road after a caller said equipment had been stolen from a radio tower.

• At 3:20 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Waldo Street after a caller reported his mailbox had been stolen.

• At 5:40 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Pebble Beach Drive after a caller said someone had stolen his Christmas decorations.

• At 6:56 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3400 block of Kings Valley Road after a caller asked for help removing a person who refused to get out of his car.

• At 10:23 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Childs and Cooper after a caller reported hearing multiple gunshots.

• At 11:02 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Lakeside Look after a caller reported hearing around 15 gunshots in the area.

Friday, Dec. 25

• At 12:41 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1000 block of Sandmann Road after a caller said her husband was causing a disturbance and tried to hit her.

• At 12:53 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive after a caller reported his brother was drunk and refused to get into the car with him.

• At 4:17 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1000 block of Blackwell after a man fell down and was bleeding from the head.

• At 9:19 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Waldo Street after a caller asked for help removing a person from their property.

• At 10:53 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Bertsch Avenue after a caller reported a saw was stolen from his garage.

• At 12:44 p.m., the fire department responded to the 1900 block of Highway 199 after a power transformer blew, causing a small fire in the area.

• At 4:53 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Kellogg Beach Road to check on a person who had passed out in a car.

• At 5:48 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Lake Earl and Blackwell after a caller reported hearing a loud explosion in the area.

• At 6:02 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of L Street after a caller reported a woman was running in and out of traffic.

• At 6:06 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Anzio Street after a caller said her child’s father is refusing to return the child to her.

• At 7:26 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1300 block of Oregon Street after a caller said a woman ran over her mailbox and drove away.

• At 9:37 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1500 block of Northcrest to help remove a subject from a store.

• At 9:47 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 600 block of Elk Valley Road after a caller said she would kill her husband unless she was taken to the hospital.

Saturday, Dec. 26

• At 2:32 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Condor after a caller said there was a loud party upstairs and a baby was crawling around the balcony.

• At 8:09 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Citizens Dock Road after a caller reported an elderly man walking around in his socks and underwear.

• At 10:04 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Waldo Street after a caller said a man trespassed on his property and dumped trash.

• At 10:45 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Church Tree after a caller reported his neighbors were setting of fireworks.

• At 10:59 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 600 block of Humboldt Street after a caller reported multiple Christmas gifts were stolen from his car.

• At 11:58 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of Highway 101 after a caller reported a man stole several items from the store.

• At 1:23 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of Highway 101 from a caller who said multiple vehicles at the location had windows broken.

• At 3:46 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 500 block of Childs Avenues after a caller said he confronted a man trying to get into a vacant building.

• At 4:21 p.m., police responded to the area of Condor and Gainard after a caller said two large dogs were chasing children.

• At 5:08 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Pebble Beach and Pacific Avenue after a caller said she was harassed by a man on the beach who let his dog off the leash to attack her.

• At 8:28 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 14000 block of Highway 101 after a caller reported a man she has a restraining order against was knocking on her door.

• At 10:33 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Margie Street after a call said a vehicle drove into his trailer and fled.

Sunday, Dec. 27

• At 12:45 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 600 block of Pacific Avenue after a caller said someone came into his house and stole a backpack.

• At 4:33 a.m., the fire department responded to the 400 block of 2nd Street in Smith River after a caller said his house was on fire.

• At 8:08 a.m., the Crescent City Fire Department responded to the 700 block of Lauff Avenue after a caller reported hearing an explosion and seeing smoke.

• At 8:27 a.m., police responded to the 900 block of Northcrest Drive after a caller reported seeing a man slumped over his steering wheel.

• At 1:48 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of M Street after a caller reported someone was in an RV and screaming.

• At 2:07 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of H Street after a caller said a driver was swerving all over the road.

• At 2:49 p.m., police responded to the 1200 block of 6th Street after a caller reported his van was stolen.

• At 3:43 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to milepost 30 on Highway 199 after a caller reported a tow truck was on fire.

• At 3:57 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of M Street after a caller said someone tried to steal a cart full of items.

• At 6:19 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Morehead Road in Fort Dick after a caller said a man tried to get in her car.

• At 7:27 p.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Condor Street after a caller said her son was at the house and she has a restraining order against him.

• At 8:25 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Olive Street after a caller said her sister’s boyfriend was trying to break the windows on her truck.

• At 9:29 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Railroad and Blackwell after a caller reported hearing an explosion.

Monday, Dec. 28

• At 5:35 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Starfish Way after a caller said his front windshield was broken out.

• At 8:05 p.m., police received a call asking them to remove a subject who was sleeping in a doorway.

• At 8:55 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block of Condor Street after a caller said a person he had a restraining order against was at the location.

• At 8:58 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Old Mill and Dayton after a caller reported a dog had killed her neighbor’s chickens and was now chasing cows.

• At 10:29 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Del Ponte Drive after a caller said an aggressive animal was in the area.

• At 2:17 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Starfish Way after a caller said a person had been harassing him.

• At 2:40 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Lynch Road after a caller said someone’s son was beating her.

• At 3:14 p.m., police received a call from someone who said people were tampering with her brother’s grave.

• At 5:14 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Railroad after a caller said transients were camping on his property.

• At 11:41 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the 200 block of Leif Circle after a caller reported her front windshield was broken.

• At 12:05 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of H Street after a caller reported his window was broken.
