Saturday, Oct. 24

At 6 a.m., caller reported fraud in Smith River. Officers were unable to make contact.

At 2:57 p.m., caller reported a possible physical fight on the 1900 block of Morehead Road in Fort Dick. A person was transported.

At 5:29 p.m., caller reported a verbal disturbance at Northcrest Drive and East Madison Avenue near Crescent City. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

At 6:18 p.m., caller requested the removal of a subject on the 300 block of Buzzini Road near Crescent City.

At 10:14 p.m., caller reported suspicious circumstances on the 1900 block of Northcrest Drive near Crescent City. Everything checked out.

Arrests

At 1:03 a.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested William Allan Avery, 56, on U.S. Highway 101. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 3:52 a.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Joshua Guana, 22, on Sutter. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 3:52 a.m., the California Highway Patrol arrested Joshua Avery Gauna, 22. Charges: DUI alcohol/0.08 percent; DUI alcohol.

At 1:20 p.m., the Crescent City Police Department arrested Sean Madeiros Simao, 36, in the 900 block of Sunset Circle. Charges: PRCS violation; Possess unlawful paraphernalia.
