The County of Del Norte has declared an emergency for a failed culvert under Washington Boulevard between Harrold Street and Crescent Senior Estates (west of Burtschell).
Beginning Monday, July 24, 2023, and ending Friday, July 28, 2023, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM there will be controlled traffic with possible lane closures for the duration of the work.
The geotechnical borings, which will help guide the ultimate repair of the culvert, are expected to take a few workdays to complete.
