The 18th annual Dee-ni Day is Saturday, Sept. 6 in Smith River and registration is now open for food and art vendors, horseshoe tournament, men and women gambling, stick games, regalia showcase and the Tribal Citizen Art of Show.
The free, family-friendly event, which draws thousands of people, is open to the public and is scheduled 9AM-4PM at the Howenquet Hall Community Center at 101 Indian CT, across from the Lucky 7 Casino. The event also features kids activities, cultural demonstrations and a photo booth. Vendors spa es fill up quickly and fees increase after August 15, so don’t wait! Vendor categories include food and/or beverage, arts and gift products, information/demonstration, non-profit organizations and a Tolowa Dee-ni Nation departments, divisions and programs.
