Unofficial FINAL REPORT for the Del Norte 2024 General Election was released, election night.
Here’s the Report from the 19 precincts issued by Elections Clerk Alissia Northrup:
The Crescent City Harbor District will have three new commissioners.

• JOHN EVANS 2482
will take their Oaths after the election has been certified by Clerk Northrup.
Countywide Measure H $59 million DNUSD Bond went down in defeat. The threshold to pass the Bond required a 55 percent YES vote but was defeated by the following vote:

College of the Redwoods Measure I also was vanquished:
NO: 3779
YES: 2654
Republican candidate for the 2nd Assembly District Michael Greer handily was the top vote getter in Del Norte but was unable to win enough votes to defeat Democrat Chris Rogers in the rest of the District (Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino and Sonoma counties)
No Election was needed to seat the three candidates for City Council. Incumbent Jason Greenough, newcomers Candace Tinkler and Daran Dooley will take their Oaths after Election certification.
Democrat Jared Huffman was re-elected.
President-elect Donald J. Trump won Del Norte County and enough electoral votes to be the 47th President of The United States.
Democrat Adam Schiff is the United States Senator-elect for the balance of the Diane Feinstein term and also won an overlapping six year term from the Golden State.
6719 cast ballots / 15,177 registered to vote…44.45 percent turnout.
Results remain Unofficial pending Secretary of State certification.
The Clerk announced an additional four thousand provisional ballots have yet to be tabulated.
