Christmast at business park

Kevin Moerke of Edward Jones Investments delights visiting Joe Hamilton Elementary School students Wednesday while performing duties as the Polar Express conductor handing out golden tickets to his office’s exhibit. Tami Coulson of CVH Financial Services said the students were invited to tour Christmas displays at offices in the business park on Marshall Street in Crescent City. “We’ve decorated the offices on this side of the business park every year for a while, but this year we decided to go all out,” she said. “We asked the rest of the complex to join us. Then, I decided we needed to share that with people and the best thing to do is share it with the kids.” Coulson said about 500 kindergartners and third-grade students have toured the six offices, which were decorated in various Christmas themes, including Country Christmas, Candy Land, Gingerbread Land and Polar Express. As the students took in the decorations, they were given scholastic reading materials and treats. “Next year we’re planning a huge extravaganza,” said Coulson. Photo by David Hayes
