Beverly Carla Pitt was born on February 21, 1932, to Percy Reid and Lena (Freeman) Reid.  She passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 89 with her family by her side.

At a young age her family moved to Korbel, California, where she attended grade school. She later attended Arcata High School where she graduated with the class of “50”.

Just two weeks after graduation she married Joseph Pitt and moved to Requa, California. To this union they had three children, Joe, Rhonda, and Gary.

Beverly was a stay-at-home mother to her three children.  She was very active in their schooling, the PTA, and other school activities when they were in grade school.  In addition to her children there are many who she considered her own. She never knew a stranger – young or old. Once a friend, always a friend.

She will be missed dearly, thought of often, and always in our hearts.  We love you.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Percy and Lena Reid, mother-in-law Hellie Cleveland, and father-in-law Andrew Cleveland.

She is survived by her husband Joe Pitt and sister Betty Swanson.  Children Joe (Carol) Pitt, Rhonda (David, deceased), Giannotti and Gary (Cheryl) Pitt.  Grandchildren Joel Holben, Kerye Pitt (David Dupree). Bradley Pitt (Stephanie Sanderson), Katelyn Byers (John). Patricia Pitt (Austin Goode) and Kyle Giannotti.  Great grandchildren Amity, Kassidy, Karmen, Dominick, Kasey, Bill, Gavin, Evelyn, Trinity and one great great grandson Cole.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
