Mark D. Lassle

Mark was born in Glendive, Montana and moved with his family to Crescent City in 1965. He graduated from Del Norte High School where he was involved in all sports, and soon after joined the Army. He served 3 years and spent 18 months in Germany.

He worked as a carpenter and commercial fishing deckhand for many years and was most recently employed at the Ship Ashore properties in Smith River. He was on his way home from work when the fatal car crash happened on Hwy 101.

Mark was a skilled carpenter in all the trades and was always a go-to guy for anyone that needed work done or a helping hand. His heart was as big as his smile and will be missed by his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving Mom Dee and sister Marvena.

Surviving family members are daughter Devin, son Mark Jr., brothers Darren and David Lassle and their families, Ryan, Mitchell, Kay Dee and Rainee. Also, his father and best friend Marvin, Pennie Roberts, and Johnny McDonald.

No services will be held, but he will forever be missed.
