Natasha Marie Steele

Natasha Marie Steele was born on Sept. 24, 1982, in Crescent City. She lived most of her life in Crescent City, Santa Rosa and Covello. She was a person who was crazy outgoing, full of love, full of life, always out for a challenge and adventure and always willing to help someone out. She held her children close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Carol Steele/Bettega and Edwin Wayne Bettega Jr.; her brother, Edwin Wayne Bettega III; great grandmother, Adeline; grandmother, Carol Joyce Steele; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was survived by her four children, Izaiah, Jasmine, Julius and Isabella Palmer; her siblings, Tanaiah Alexandria Bettega, Garold Arnold Bettega and Michelle and Michael Bettega; aunts and uncles, including Sharon Meija, Daniel Steele, Janice Rodriques (deceased), Bert Steele, Jon Randolf Steele, Sandra Salas (deceased), Deanna Steele, Glenda Jacob, Blake Smith (deceased), Dennise McGill, Louwegie Bettega (deceased), Felecia Cordova, Jerome McGill, Alana McGill, Nathan McGill, Aunt Jerry and Dan Figueroa; and grandmother Phyllis Amante.

A wake is scheduled on Thursday, starting at 4 p.m. at the residence of Bert Steele.

Funeral Services will be held at the Cornerstone Church in Crescent City on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. followed by interment at the IOOF Memorial Cemetery and a reception at the Del Norte Fairgrounds.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.
