Perry Marlin Sr. 

Perry was born June 15, 1958 in Modesto, CA. Perry devoted his life to playing music and entertaining others. Perry played in a few bands but most notable was Wizard which was a major influence of the heavy metal scene in the 80’s. Perry received Honorable Mention in the Billboard 4th Annual Songwriting Contest with Let Your Love Grow. When Perry moved to Crescent City he was a DJ on the local KPOD radio for a few years as well as a local DJ and MC, playing any local gatherings he could. Perry treasured playing and making music.

Perry is survived by his 4 children Perry Marlin Jr (Andrea), Andrea Kelleher (Nathan), Andrew Marlin and MacKenzee Marlin. Grandchildren Mikaila, Blake, Bryce, Liam, Benjamin and soon to arrive Conner. He is also survived by his sisters Lorica and Shelly, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Perry was preceded in death by his father Ronald and mother Eleanor and long time girlfriend Cathy Dehart.

A celebration of Perry’s life will be held next year in June.
