Robert “Bob” Raymond

Robert “Bob” Raymond

Robert “Bob” Raymond, age 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 18, 2022, after battling cancer. He was born on August 1, 1942, to Mildred and Glenn Raymond in Brookings, OR.

In 1963, Bob married MaryAnn Thuney and went to work in sales, where he quickly found his calling. In 1967 Bob served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the bronze star for his bravery in the Tet Offensive. After Vietnam, he returned to Fort Dick, CA, where he and MaryAnn would live until they moved to Mosier, OR. He would spend two years in land sales before moving to Vancouver in 1974, where he went to work at Lutz Snyder Realty.

Throughout his long career in real estate, Bob would start Crest Realty, and in 1995, he became the Designated Broker for the Windermere/Crest Realty Co. in Camas, WA, where he worked up until just weeks before his death. Bob was a man of integrity, and he was loved, admired, and respected by many. He took great pride in seeing his fellow agents excel and become the best realtors they could be.

Bob always put family first. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a person who could move mountains for those he loved. He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Thuney (Vancouver, WA); daughter Rachelle Cullins (Seattle, WA); grandchildren Kael Coquet (Fairview, TX), Hailey Coquet (Portland, OR), Noah Cullins (Vancouver, WA), and Lucas Cullins (Vancouver, WA).

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Vancouver First Church of God,

3300 NE 78th St,

Vancouver, WA 98665, where he was a long-standing member.
