Sylvia Charlotte Good, 83, of Crescent City, California, died peacefully with her family around her on October 16, 2021, of natural causes.

Sylvia (Sue) was born in Depew, Oklahoma, on August 27, 1938, to the parents of Charles & Dolly Gray.  She was the youngest of 10 children in the Gray family who moved to Madera, California, as migrant farmers, working the cotton and grape fields.

Sue met Dexter Duane Good and married on February 27, 1957.

Sue enjoyed family and friends.  Children were the pride and joy of her life.  She was a woman of faith and loved Jesus. “To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5:8.   She is now in the arms of Jesus.    She will be missed, but not forgotten.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter, and her son Jerry Good.   She is survived by her sisters, Carmelita Ford of Buena Park, Jeraldine Bumgarner of Grassy Valley and brother Paul Dean Gray of Corona, California.  Daughters Cheryle Good and Linda Brixey (husband Michael); son Gary Good; her grandchildren, Terri, Dexter, Jason, Curtis, Matthew, Kristina, Rebecca, Drew, Jeremy, Sara; and 16 great grandchildren.

There will be no funeral or memorial services.  The Family would like to thank Sutter Sacramento Hospital for the care and compassion they gave our mother. We will see you soon Mom.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.
