Truma Jones

With broken hearts we announce the loss of our precious mother, Truma Jones. Following complications from an illness, Momma passed away peacefully with family by her side at Renown Hospital in Reno, NV on February 25th, 2021. Momma was born to parents John D. Haggard and Syrena B. Goff as Trumblean Haggard on September 13, 1934 in Hanna, OK. There she grew up and met the love of her life, Glen Jones. She knew in an instant that they would spend their lifetime together. They married and enjoyed their lives with each other for 68 years. Her love for others and life spilled over to all those that knew her. Her greatest passion was cooking and she made us all so proud when she published her own cook book, “Sharing Our Best”, which included all of those special recipes we enjoyed throughout our lifetime. Her most precious gift of all though, was just being the woman she was. Her unselfishness, grace, and love knew no bounds and was apparent to anyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen H. Jones, and children Sherry J. Jones and John M. Jones. Also preceded in death were her siblings Carl Haggard, Tommie Haggard, Lonnie Haggard, Thad Haggard, Edna Haggard, John Jr., Frank Haggard, Bobby Lee Haggard, and Ricky Haggard. She is survived by her sister Linda Hosier and her children Jack D. Jones with wife Cynthia Jones, and daughter Brenda J. Anderson (Jones) with husband Gary Anderson. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Jennifer Grossman with husband Mark Grossman, Chris James with husband Bobby James, David Johnson and Scott Jones along with a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
