Harbor, Airport, Sewer, Highway 199 and Broadband. Those words became the moniker for a County economic development movement in 2008 to ensure focused efforts on key infrastructure development for our community.
Chris Howard knew, like many before him, that without these key pieces of infrastructure in Del Norte, we could not compete on a level playing field with the rest of the State.
It has been no small feat over the last decade to bring many of these projects to reality, and I have witnessed the vital role Chris Howard played in bringing our community together to advocate as one voice for progress.
