Hello, my name is Taylor VanGilder (Thompson). I was so excited to go to high school and try out for the drill team. I was never very good at sports, but loved dancing. I was so nervous, but Terri made me feel comfortable. I was so excited when I had made it!
I stayed on the drill team all four years of high school (2007-2011) and absolutely loved it! Terri was such an amazing coach. Because of her I had the opportunity to go to drill camp in Santa Cruz and also got to go to San Fransisco and perform at 49ers games! This was so special to me because that was my dads favorite team.
I appreciate the family that the team had become. We always had fun times full of laughter. I look back on those times and feel so grateful to have such an amazing mentor and coach that made it so fun. Thank you Terri for being so awesome!
