As a reporter for The Triplicate, I would hope you would adhere to honest business practice (business is not always a noun).  You provided in your Eye on Del Norte input on a previous news story (proper) however, since you wrote the original story, it was inappropriate.  Or perhaps you were replying to my letter, which had not yet been published (just bad form).

Surely Honesty would have demanded that you reach out to our local vets’ offices.  I did, and they continue to work with our local shelter to provide the Humane Society’s spay/neuter services.  They also accept the certificates from the shelter for those services in the cases where adoption occurred before alteration.
