letters to the editor

As people recover from the COVID pandemic, it is being used as an excuse to inflate prices and gouge customers.

Remember, California has passed an anti-price gouging law in April 2020 that was extended on Dec. 30, 2020. It is price gouging that is driving up prices not inflation. A local business tried to price gouge me, and I reported them to the state attorney general. If you believe a business is price gouging report them. Protect yourself. https://www.communitypoweredresilience.org/resource/filing-price-gouging-complaint-state
