Dear Editor: Reasons to buy locally:

I purchased a recliner chair from Roxco Furniture in 2017; the chair broke this week. I arrived at the store with my paperwork in hand, expecting a discussion regarding warranty. I was met with, “We stand behind what we sell.”

Roxco picked up my chair a short time later. Fortunately, it was something they could repair in the shop. By late afternoon, my chair was returned to me.

One might ask, what was the rush? My husband recently had a total hip replacement and needed the recliner to elevate his feet and do some minimal leg exercises.

I can’t thank Roxco enough for their excellent service.
