Criminal Convictions

The following report of criminal convictions between Dec. 4 and Dec. 10 was provided by the Superior Court of Del Norte County.

 

• Spencer Carl Ansell, 41, of Crescent City, was convicted of vandalism-damages to property not belonging to the defendant and unlawful possession of instrument/paraphernalia and was sentenced to one year of probation and a fine of $140.                                                                                       

• Chester Bighead Jr., 46, of Crescent City, was convicted of DUI with a prior offense and sentenced to four years of probation, 90 days in jail and a fine of $2,602.

• Samuel Charles Mcewen, 38, of Crescent City, was convicted of taking of a shopping cart and resists, delays or obstructs and was sentenced to 100 days in jail and a fine of $1,110.

• Pedro Garcia Maravilla, 35, of Crescent City, was convicted of DUI and was sentenced to three years of probation, two days in jail and a fine of $1,864.

• Lional Edouard Robitaille, 59, of Hoopa, was convicted of DUI and was sentenced to three years of probation, two days in jail and a fine of $1,864.

• Mark Ray Stevens,   57, of Brookings, Ore., was convicted of DUI and was sentenced to three years of probation, two days in jail and a fine of $1,864.
