Excerpts from the call logs of the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Department:

Tuesday, April 28

At 4:34 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of G Street reported that there were several people under her house, placed there by Satan who opened a portal to the underworld.

At 9:43 a.m., a resident in the 500 block of Calaveras Street reported someone had ransacked his and his girlfriend’s car.

At 1:08 p.m., someone reported a car drive right at him at Old Mill and Heights access road, making him jump to the side of the road.

At 2:08 p.m., California Highway Patrol called to report a possibly intoxicated driver in the 100 block of 3rd Street.

At 4:06 p.m., someone reported spotting a subject walking through the cemetery in the 500 block of Cooper Street causing a disturbance.

At 7:13 p.m., a resident in the 800 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported his car was stolen.

At 7:17 p.m., a resident reported while out on a walk, finding a bag of bones of unknown origin on the side of the road at Railroad and Blackwell streets.

At 7:36 p.m., someone reported spotting several subjects illegally camping in the 400 block of Hoover Street.

At 9:31 p.m., an anonymous report of juveniles possibly drinking in the area of Kellogg Beach Road.

At 10 p.m., a resident in the 1500 block of California Street reported he neighbor’s house was being broken into.

At 10:19 p.m., a resident in the 1200 block of Glenn Street reported his car alarm was going off and that someone may be trying to break into it.

At 10:31 p.m., a resident in the 200 block of Olive Street reported she believed her house was broken into as several items were missing and several items were left behind that didn’t belong to her.

At 10:43 p.m., a resident in the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported hearing someone prowling around outside her trailer.

At 11:14 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of G Street reported hearing a loud explosion in the area.

Monday, April 27

At 12:59 a.m., a report of a car fire in the 700 block of 9th Street.

At 10:03 a.m. a report from the 100 block of Price Mall that someone tried to break into the building.

At 11:34 a.m., a resident in the 800 block of Small Avenue reported someone vandalized his shed.

At 11:43 a.m., a report from the 1300 block of El Dorado Street that a Conex storage trailer lock was cut, but it is unknown if anything was stolen.

At 12:39 p.m., California Highway Patrol received a call that a loud crash had taken place around or inside a building in the 1500 block of California Street.

At 1:24 p.m., a resident in the 1200 block of Glenn Street reported his shed had been broken into.

At 1:33 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive reported two subjects had stolen his car.

At 1:42 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Klamath Boulevard witnessed a known subject breaking out windows to a trailer.

At 1:43 p.m., a resident in the 99900 block of 9th Street reported his cat was stolen again.

At 2:16 p.m., a subject with a gunshot wound went to the emergency room in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 2:53 p.m., a report of a subject in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard breaking into cars and stealing things.

At 3:35 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Price Mall reported someone broke into a shed and stole some chairs.

Sunday, April 26

At 6:52 a.m., a resident in the 900 block of 10th Street reported someone broke into the property and went through several vehicles.

At 9:14 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Klamath Boulevard reported her roommate was assaulted by an unknown subject.

At 9:27 a.m., a report of a stolen bike on U.S. Highway 101.

At 9:54 a.m., an employee in the 1200 block of Northcrest Boulevard reported someone broke into the yard and went through one of the vans.

At 11:25 a.m., a report of a surfboard found with no one around on South Beach.

At 12:01 p.m. a report of a cat stolen from a car in the 300 block of Front Street.

At 2:58 p.m., someone reported witnessing a subject yelling at and slamming a puppy into the sidewalk in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101.

At 3:16 p.m., a resident in the 1100 block of Seville Avenue reported her chicken had been stolen.

At 6:19 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Cessna Drive reported his grandson was threatening to stab himself and others.

At 6:25 p.m., a report of illegal dumping in the area of Point St. George.

At 6:31 p.m., a report from the 300 block of Temple Street of a male subject chasing another subject with a club and threatening to beat him to death.

At 7:49 p.m., a report of a subject who may have stolen items and ran away from a store in the 400 block of M Street.

At 8:05 p.m., staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported they had in custody a suspected shoplifter.

Saturday, April 25

At 3:22 a.m., a request from Harbor Fire Department to assist on a residential fire on Moore Street in Brookings.

At 10:06 a.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Hunter Creek Road reported someone stole suitcases and clothing from her garage.

At 10:57 a.m., someone reported finding possible human remains on Holiday Road north of Three Ponds. It was later determined to be deer remains.

At 11:58 a.m., a manager in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported receiving a counterfeit bill and requested it be picked up by law enforcement.

At 1 p.m., a resident in the 200 block of 8th Street reported someone ran over her phone and water bottle.

At 3 p.m., a request for removal a male subject from the 100 block of Butte Street who is back on the property and won’t leave.

At 2:29 p.m. a resident in the 500 block of Pacific Avenue reported possibly witnessing a group of youths stealing a riding lawn mower.

At 7:23 p.m., a report of ongoing theft by a mal subject in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 8:59 p.m., security at a business in the 400 block of M Street had detained a subject trying to conceal several items in his clothing.

At 11:29 p.m., a report of juveniles being loud and driving recklessly at 9th and H streets.

Friday, April 24

At 2:14 a.m., a trailer fire was reported in the 100 block of Klamath Boulevard.

At 3:22 a.m., a report of a vandalized vehicle in the 1300 block of El Dorado Street.

At 4:41 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Klamath Boulevard reported a subject was sleeping on his porch.

At 6:10 a.m., a report of subjects illegal camping who are littering with garbage and beer cans in a park in the 400 block of Howe Drive.

At 9:14 a.m., a request to remove a subject camping in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 800 block of H Street.

At 11:28 a.m., a resident reported his cat was stolen from his car in a parking lot in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 12:18 p.m., a shoplifter was detained by staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 3:41 p.m., security requested the removal of a subject loitering and refusing to leave from the front of restaurant in the 300 block of M Street.

At 3:57 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Humboldt Street reported having ongoing issues with her son, who was living with her at the residence, and had swung an ax at her earlier in the day.

At 5:18 p.m. a report of a dog trapped inside a hot car with the windows rolled up in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 6:47 p.m., someone broke into a vehicle and stole a purse in the 600 block of Keller.

At 11:05 p.m., a report received of possibly five shots fired in the area of Blueberry and Blackwell Lane.

Thursday, April 23

At 2:49 a.m., someone broke out the glass at the entrance of a residence in the 600 block of M Street.

At 6:49 a.m., staff in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 101 reported a subject appeared to be trying to break into their shed.

At 8:36 a.m., a report of a subject at a motel in the 100 block of L Street was causing a disturbance, yelling and throwing things at staff.

At 9:36 a.m., staff in the 600 block of L Street requested the removal of a subject who was back on the property.

At 12:46 p.m., staff in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 requested removal of a guest who was causing ongoing issues and wouldn’t leave.

At 1:39 p.m., an officer was flagged in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 by someone to report a stolen car.

At 2:43 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Klamath Beach Road reported a subject was on her property stealing gas and making strange statements he was with the government.

At 3:44 p.m., staff in the 100 block of Walton Street requested the removal of a subject camping in a car on the property’s parking lot for three days.

At 4:58 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Harbor View Drive reported a neighbor brandished a Taser at him in an ongoing dispute.

At 7:54 p.m., a report of a fire in the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 9:51 p.m., staff in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported a male and female were having an altercation in the parking lot and the male may have a pistol.

Wednesday, April 22

At 2:28 a.m., a report of female subjects sitting in a parking lot in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 101 who are refusing to leave and were looking through other vehicles in the lot earlier. At 7:04 p.m., a report of a male subject that left with stolen t-shirts from the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 9:58 a.m., a report of a vehicle in a parking lot in the 1300 block of El Dorado Street that has been there over a month and now has broken windows.

At 10:10 a.m., staff of a business in the 700 block of Washington Boulevard requested the removal of a subject refusing to leave the store.

At 1:23 p.m., an officer flagged in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard by someone reporting a tree was leaning against powerlines.

At 4:14 p.m., someone reported his shop alarm was going off when he arrived in the 500 block of Elk Valley Road and requested assistance in checking the property perimeter.

At 6:31 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Turnbull Lane reported a subject was at her front door with some sort of tool trying to get in.

At 8:45 p.m. a report of a vehicle vs. light pole in the 400 block of M Street.

At 10:18 p.m., a report of an alarm and lights going off in the 600 block of M Street.

Tuesday, April 21

At 2:43 a.m., a resident at Oregon and Hoover streets reported a female subject stole her wallet and phone.

At 12:50 p.m., a report of a male subject swinging a metal bar at cars at U.S. Highway 101 and Northcrest.

At 2:51 p.m., a report of a subject being held for theft in the AP office in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 4:54 p.m., a report of someone laying on the floor of a restroom with a firearm in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 7:45 p.m., someone in the 500 block of Elk Valley Road reported the theft of some heavy-duty shelving.

At 11:27 p.m., a resident in the 800 block of G Street reported someone broke into her neighbor’s house.
