Friday, Aug. 21:

  • At 2:48 a.m., a resident in the 1700 block of Arlington Drive reported hearing a loud boom in the area.
  • At 7:48 a.m., a report of a small yard fire in the 900 block of Pebble Beach Drive.
  • At 7:54 a.m., staff reported a subject stole a piece of jerky from the 1000 block of 9th Street.
  • At 9:01 a.m., a report of a fire in the 2900 block of Lake Earl Drive.
  • At 9:41 a.m., a report of a storage unit broken into in the 100 block of Elk Valley Road.
  • At 10:45 a.m., a report of a checks stolen in the 700 block of 2nd Street.
  • At 3:08 p.m., a subject reported he locked his infant in his vehicle in the 400 block of M Street.
  • At 3:25 p.m., a report of a motor vehicle accident at Highway 101 and Elk Vally Road.
  • At 3:52 p.m., a subject reported he believes his wallet was pick pocketed in the 200 block of M Street.
  • At 4:43 p.m., a subject reported he has located a suspect he believes who stole his firearm in the 100 block of Ehlers Way in Klamath.
  • At 5:41 p.m., a resident in the 200 block of Seashore Drive reported hearing shots fired in the area.
  • At 9:32 a.m., reports of aerial fireworks coming from an RV park in the 600 block of Terwer Riffle Road in Klamath.
  • At 10:10 p.m., multiple reports of subjects firing aerial fireworks in the 1500 block of Macken Avenue.
  • At 10:23 p.m., a report of a possible chimney fire in the 400 block of G Street.

Saturday, Aug. 22:

  • At 4:06 a.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Northcrest Drive reported hearing two possible gunshots in the area.
  • At 5:24 a.m., a report of a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries at mile post 41.4 on Highway 101 in Smith River.
  • At 5:49 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of B Street reported catching a subject trying to steal a lawn mower from the back of a neighbor’s vehicle.
  • At 6:13 a.m., a motorist reported a suspect pulled a firearm on her as she tried to get of of the vehicle in at Highway 101 and Parkway Drive.
  • At 8:45 a.m., a report of two pit bulls that killed a goat in the 100 block of Felterwood Lane.
  • At 11:58 a.m., a report of a play structure on fire in the 200 block of Salmon Avenue in Klamath.
  • At 12:02 p.m., security reported detaining a subject for theft in their office in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.
  • At 3:11 p.m., a resident in the 1200 block of Oregon Street reported a subject stole some items from his yard.
  • At 3:26 p.m., staff reported a subject attempted to steal a weed whacker from the business in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.
  • At 3:50 p.m., a subject reported hearing shots fired, possibly from a vehicle in the 2200 block of Elk Valley Road.
  • At 3:59 p.m., a subject reported finding a wallet on the side of the road at Pacific Drive and Pebble Beach Road.
  • At 7:12 p.m., security reported detaining a subject for theft in their office in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.
  • At 8:44 p.m., a report of a large brush fire near the airport on Trinity Way in Klamath.
  • At 8:47 p.m., a resident in the 4900 block of Wonderstump Road reported hearing screaming next door, then spotting a mountain lion on the property and now her neighbor isn’t responding.
  • At 8:56 p.m., a report of a subject attempting to use a counterfeit $50 bill in the 2500 block of Howland Hill Road.
  • At 8:59 p.m., a report of a subject stealing several items from a store in the 600 block of Highway 101 then fleeing on a bicycle.
  • At 9:05 p.m., multiple reports of aerial fireworks in the area of Redwood Road in Klamath.
  • At 9:30 p.m., multiple reports of subjects firing off aerial fireworks in the 1500 block of Macken Avenue.
  • At 10:33 p.m., a subject reported hearing possible gunshots in the area of Summer Lane.
  • At 10:38 p.m., reports of subjects in the area of El Dorado and Dream streets shooting off fireworks.

Sunday, Aug. 23:

  • At 12:23 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of Bertsch Avenue reported catching a known subject breaking into his residence.
  • At 2:35 a.m., a report of a small brush fire at Washington Boulevard and Burtschell Street.
  • At 7:08 a.m., a request for the removal of two transients refusing to leave a property in the 300 block of M Street.
  • At 10:35 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Harding Street reported an unknown juvenile was putting padlocks on his fence that could not be cut off.
  • At 11:22 a.m., a report of heavy smoke seen in the area of the 100 block of McBeth Way in Klamath.
  • At 11:45 a.m., a resident in the 300 block of Beckstead Avenue in Smith River reported a juvenile hit and damaged his vehicle with a bicycle. He added that the juvenile’s father became hostile when confronted about the incident.
  • At 11:57 a.m., a report of subjects illegally dumping trash in the area of Trinity Street in Klamath.
  • At 1 p.m., hikers reported their vehicle was broken into while they were out on a trail at Sandhill and Old Mill Road area.
  • At 2 p.m., a report of a fire in the 2100 block of Collins Road.
  • At 2:53 p.m., a motorist reported being rear ended in a drive through in the 300 block of M Street.
  • At 3:29 p.m., a report of a male subject using a “slim jim” to try to break into a vehicle in the 500 block of 5th Street.
  • At 5:41 p.m., a resident in the 200 block of Seashore Drive reported his neighbor is shooting off a firearm.
  • At 5:46 p.m., a subject reported losing her ID and several credit cards at a business in the 2500 block of Howland Hill Road.
  • At 6:05 p.m., a report of a suspected drug deal at Howland Hill Road and Elk Valley Road.
  • At 6:32 p.m., a subject reported finding her vehicle’s front window broken at Shoreline and Wavecrest streets in Smith River.
