Wednesday, Sept. 16:

At 7:34 a.m., a report of a vehicle blocking the road at 5th and M streets.

At 8:40 a.m., a resident in the 900 block of 9th Street reported her neighbor keeps throwing things at her vehicle.

At 8:56 a.m., a report of a subject carrying a rifle on Highway 101 at Klamath Beach Road in Klamath.

At 9:42 a.m., a resident reported someone cut the lock to his storage unit in the 200 block of Cooper Avenue and is unsure if anything has been taken.

At 9:45 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of B Street reported someone stole a political sign out of her yard.

At 12:09 p.m., a resident reported she caught someone tampering with her car last night in the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 1:52 p.m., someone reported finding some hypodermic needles in the 700 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 2:21 p.m., a motorist reported she was just involved in a car accident with no injuries in the 600 block of Highway 101.

At 2:35 p.m., a resident reported a subject in a vehicle in the 16800 block of Highway 101 in Smith River has been parked there for two days and has given different stories to several different people.

At 5:34 p.m., a subject reported his bike was stolen earlier in the day from the 700 block of L Street.

At 5:36 p.m., a subject reported the person she is renting a room from in the 900 block of McNamara Avenue locked her in the house somehow, possible by nailing the door shut.

At 6 p.m., a subject reported hearing one gun shot in the area of Fern and Railroad streets.

At 6:12 p.m., staff requested the removal of a subject who is not allowed in a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 6:41 p.m., staff reported a subject stole multiple items from the store in the 600 block of Highway 101 and fled.

At 8:09 p.m., someone reported a subject is being hostile toward him after he confronted her for walking a dog without a leash in the 1000 block of Highway 101.

At 9:39 p.m., security in the 400 block of M Street reported a subject who appears to have items concealed in his backpack.

At 10:03 p.m., a report of an illegal campfire on the beach between 2nd and 3rd Streets.

At 10:53 p.m., a report of a fire alarm in the 300 block of H Street.

At 11:27 p.m., a report of two subject with flashlights inside the fenced construction area in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 11:32 p.m., a report of heavy smoke that appears to be coming inside and along the side of a residence at Breen Street and Washington Boulevard.

At 11:35 p.m., a resident in the 2100 block of Howland Hill Road reported approximately four subjects were prowling on his property.

At 11:40 p.m., a report of a company vehicle hit the building in the 1200 block of 6th Street and left without providing insurance information.

Thursday, Sept. 17:

At 1:35 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of Cooper Avenue reported seeing through his Ring camera a subject inside his garage.

At 2:39 a.m., a subject reported he is in the wooded area behind an unknown hotel in the 500 block of Highway 101 and that subjects are trying to kill him.

At 10:34 a.m., a report of an illegal burn in the area of Northcrest Drive and Oak Street.

At 10:52 a.m., a resident in the 400 block of Winter Lane reported that her neighbor’s vacant residence was possible broken into last night as the window is open and the blinds are pulled back.

At 12:28 p.m., a request to remove a transient digging through Dumpsters in the 600 block of Highway 101.

At 2:48 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of L Street reported he came home and found a bike in the bushes behind his house.

At 3:57 p.m., a resident in the 12700 block of Indian Road in Smith River reported a subject she has a restraining order against is sitting in a vehicle in her driveway.

At 6:08 p.m., a resident in the Smugglers Cove area reported sheds on the property appear to have been broken into and children were playing inside of them earlier in the day.

At 6:42 p.m., a report of a subject at a bus stop in the 400 block of M Street yelling, screaming and throwing items at people passing by.

At 6:56 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of McNamara Avenue reported that his roommate attempted to attack him with a hammer.

At 7:52 p.m., a subject reported her husband is stuck on the beach near Kellogg Beach Road in his vehicle and the tide is coming in.

At 8:31 p.m., staff reported a subject stole several grocery items from the store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard and is leaving on foot.

At 9:25 p.m., a male victim reported a subject hit him in the face with a pumpkin in the 800 block of B Street.

At 9:44 p.m., a female subject reported she was locked in the fairgrounds in the 400 block of Highway 101.

Friday, Sept. 18:

At 12:03 a.m., a resident in the 2500 block of Old Mill Road reported that a subject assaulter her after an altercation with a male subject who fired shots out of his door.

At 1:15 a.m., reports of shots heard fired in the area of Gary and 10th streets.

At 1:52 a.m., a resident in the 700 block of E Street reported when she went to check on her car alarm that kept going off, she noticed a suspicious person standing across the street staring at her and acting strangely.

At 6:09 a.m., a report of an unknown subject who stole a pack of cigarettes and a soda from the 1200 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 6:41 a.m., a subject reported her dog is being attacked by a raccoon in the 500 block of Butte Street.

At 7:10 a.m., staff reported an unknown subject stole some items from the store in the 1200 block of Northcrest Drive and assaulted the manager.

At 9:31 a.m., a general fire alarm triggered in the 1100 block of Burtschell Street.

At 10:34 a.m., a subject reported that sometime overnight someone broke into the boat shed in the 100 block of Battery Point Drive.

At 12:43 p.m., a general smoke alarm was triggered in the 900 block of 10th Street.

At 12:49 p.m., a resident in the 2500 block of Elk Valley Cross Road reported that his mailbox was stolen.

At 4:20 p.m., multiple reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at Elk Valley Road and Highway 101.

At 7:24 p.m., staff reported a group of juveniles threw something at the library window, possibly breaking it, in the 900 block of G Street.

At 8:14 p.m., a report of a vehicle stolen from a storage unit in the 200 block of Elk Valley Road.

Saturday, Sept. 19:

At 1:06 a.m., parks staff requested assistance with a possible burglary in progress in the 1100 block of Endert Beach.

At 9:13 a.m., California Highway Patrol requested a unit for a vandalism report in the 2500 block of Nickel Avenue.

At 9:33 a.m., reports of a female subject who tried to steal items from a store in the 900 block of Northcrest Drive.

At 9:46 a.m., a phone was found at the corner of California and Coolidge streets.

At 1:45 p.m., the owner of a business in the 500 block of L Street reported a subject was in the parking lot pretending to be an employee of her business.

At 6:45 p.m., a resident in the 2000 block of Old Mill Road reported her tailer was on fire.

At 7:17 p.m., staff of a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported having two subjects detained for shoplifting.

At 7:45 p.m., someone reported in the 2500 block of Highway 199 in Hiouchi that a subject who threatened him had a firearm concealed behind his back.

At 8:31 p.m., a subject reported his girlfriend was trying to attack him with a crowbar in the 2400 block of Howland Hill Road.

At 11:21 p.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Macken Avenue reported an unknown subject vandalized his vehicle.

Sunday, Sept. 20:

At 2:46 a.m., a report of subjects were lighting off fireworks at Eldorado and Hamilton streets.

At 7:38 a.m., staff requested the removal of a transient male subject refusing to leave a store in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard.

At 9:20 a.m., a report of a fire near the brush on South Beach.

At 11:41 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Redhawk Lane in Fort Dick reported his neighbor came to his front porch stating her husband has a firearm and is trying to kill her.

At 12:06 p.m., a resident in the 2100 block of Malone Road reported his neighbor’s dog attacked his dog and when he went to break up the fight, he got attacked as well.

At 3:08 p.m., a resident in the 1300 block of Harrold Street reported that someone threw a rock at his window and broke it.

At 4:47 p.m., a resident in the 2200 block of Harmony Lane that his neighbor is shooting off a high power air soft gun in the area.

At 5:21 p.m., a fire alarm triggered in the 100 block of Citizens Dock Road.

At 5:47 p.m., a subject reported several items were stolen from his truck, including several firearms, in the 100 block of Thimbleberry Lane in Hiouchi.

At 6:18 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Essex Street reported juveniles were throwing apples at her home.

At 7:28 p.m., a report of a large brush fire on the side of the road, 20 feet from mile post 30.33 on Collier Tunnel.

At 7:31 p.m., a subject reported she can hear gunshots in the area of Highway 101 and Northbank Drive.

Monday, Sept. 21:

At 4:13 a.m., a resident in the 600 block of L Street reported someone was trying to get into his window.

At 5:10 a.m., staff in the 700 block of 2nd Street reported he was threatened by an unknown male subject possibly armed with a machete or stick.

At 7:32 a.m., California Highway Patrol advised there was a small fire on east side of Highway 199, down an embankment near mile post 30.73 on Highway 199 in Gasquet. Forest Service was notified.

At 8:30 a.m., California Highway Patrol was assisting a male subject who stated he fell down an embankment off Highway 199 near Gasquet two days ago, has hypothermia and other unknown injuries.

At 10:33 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of Waldo Street reported there is a subject camping in her vehicle near the house and would like him to be moved along.

At 2:27 p.m., a subject reported being carjacked at gunpoint at Iowa and Union streets.

At 3:48 p.m., a report of a single vehicle rollover accident, with a single occupant with unknown injuries, in the 4300 block of Lake Earl Drive.

At 11:08 p.m., a report of several juveniles possibly drinking near a vehicle at 3rd and Wendell streets.

Tuesday, Sept. 22:

At 12:50 a.m., a resident in the 300 block of Harding Avenue reported she saw an unknown female subject attempt to pry off a window screen then left the area.

At 4:14 a.m., a resident in the 200 block of Grand Avenue reported she believes someone entered her garage and her husband is outside with a pistol.

At 9:19 a.m., a staff member in the 1200 block of Marshall Drive reported he was assaulted by a patient.

At 9:22 a.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard reported a campaign sign was stolen.

At 9:57 a.m., a sign was stolen from a construction site at Front and B streets.

At 10:30 a.m., a resident in the 100 block of Becky Court reported he believes there are people with firearms in his home.

At 11:42 a.m., a report of a female subject speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road at J and 9th streets.

At 12:23 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Pebble Beach Drive reported that someone cut up some of her campaign signs and stole some of them.

At 12:40 p.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Pebble Beach Drive reported someone stole their campaign signs.

At 1:16 p.m., staff at a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard reported a subject stole some items and took off.

At 2:14 p.m., a report of a disturbance in the area of 14600 block of Highway 101 in Smith River with a male trying to run over a female with a vehicle.

At 4:02 p.m., a report of a subject who come into a store in the 900 block of 3rd Street, threw a paper at the store manager, then went outside and tried crawling into a storm drain.

At 4:14 p.m., a subject reported finding a sweater with an driver’s license in it at the B Street Pier.

At 5:26 p.m., a resident in the 1300 block of Pebble Beach Drive reported that several campaign signs were stolen off their property.

At 6:32 p.m., Brookings Police Department advised a subject stole an item from a store in the 700 block of Ender Street in Brookings and may be headed to Crescent City.

At 6:56 p.m., multiple reports of three small fires on Highway 199 between mile posts 30.33 and 31 that are visible from the road. The U.S. Forrest Service was notified.

At 7:16 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of Skookum Lane reported she heard a gun shot from her neighbor’s house.

At 8:47 p.m., staff reported a female subject left a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard with a pair of sunglasses.
