Friday, Aug. 28:

  • At 4:08 a.m., a report of a possible bicycle theft in the 600 block of Highway 101.
  • At 8:11 a.m., a subject reported witnessing someone trying to force open the window of a business in the 400 block of Highway 101.
  • At 10:01 a.m., someone reported spotting a female down on the side of the road, possibly from a bicycle crash, in the 6000 block of Lower Lake Road in Fort Dick.
  • At 11:07 a.m., a backpack was found in the 700 block of Highway 101.
  • At 11:36 a.m., a subject reported squatters on his property in the Inyo/Captain’s Hideout Area.
  • At 12:45 p.m., a report of an abandoned vehicle in a parking lot in the 200 block of K Street.
  • At 2:16 p.m., animal control staff requested an assist for an aggressive dog and uncooperative owner in the 200 block of B Street.
  • At 3:04 p.m., a report of a motorcycle versus bicycle crash, with unknown injuries, at Washington Boulevard and Pebble Beach Drive.
  • At 3:52 p.m., a subject reported an abandoned vehicle with no license plate in her parking lot in the 10000 block of Highway 101.
  • At 4:26 p.m., a report of an ID and debit card found at 9th and L streets.
  • At 5:49 p.m., a report of juveniles riding a motorized scooter on a basketball court in the 900 block of G Street.
  • At 6:02 p.m., staff reported a subject not allowed in their store is back in the 400 block of M Street.
  • At 6:08 p.m., a report of a vehicle broken into at the Boy Scout trail on Howland Hill Road.
  • At 6:14 p.m., staff requested the removal of a subject harassing customers in the drive through, refusing to leave, in the 400 block of Highway 101.
  • At 7:09 p.m., a report of a burglary in the 900 block of 10th Street.
  • At 7:18 p.m., a report of a two-vehicle accident, with possible injuries and an unknown number of occupants, at 6th and B streets.
  • At 8:05 p.m., two subjects flagged down a Crescent City Police Officer to report their car was broken into on Howland Hill Road.
  • At 9:35 p.m., someone reported a fight between a male and female in a parking lot in the 700 block of Elk Valley Road, when the female pulled a knife and the male pulled a gun. The witness then heard two gunshots.

Saturday, Aug. 29:

  • At 12:45 a.m., someone reported witness a subject crash her vehicle in the area of Highway 101 and 9th Street. The driver smelled of alcohol and told the witness not to call law enforcement.
  • At 2:39 a.m., someone reported she believes a subject in the area of 1300 block of El Dorado Street stole her phone.
  • At 3:13 a.m., park staff requested assistance with an out of control subject, with campers pinning the subject down, at a campground on Highway 101.
  • At 4:38 a.m., a report of an assault the day before behind a business in the 400 block of M Street.
  • At 4:57 a.m., a report of two subject who appear to be prowling on a property in the 700 block of Highway 101.
  • At 8:15 a.m., a report of a car stolen sometime overnight from a parking lot in the 600 block of L Street.
  • At 9:49 a.m., a business owner in the 4400 block of Northbank Road reported that someone cut the wires to his security system.
  • At 1:26 p.m., staff in the 300 block of 3rd Street requested the removal of a female refusing to leave, demanding a deposit she never paid.
  • At 2:29 p.m., someone reported witnessing a subject shoplift in the 500 block of Highway 101.
  • At 4:34 p.m., staff in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard reported that a patient ran out with an IV still in his arm.
  • At 5:05 p.m., a citation was issued for cell phone use in the 200 block of Elk Valley Road.
  • At 6:01 p.m., a report of someone lighting off aerial fireworks in the 100 block of Redwood Drive.
  • At 6:30 p.m., a report of a male subject that shoplifted clothing and food items from a store in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.
  • At 6:37 p.m., a report of a motorcycle accident with unknown injuries at South Fork in Hiouchi.
  • At 7:54 p.m., a report of a known subject throwing chain saws into the middle of the roadway in the 300 block of Highway 101.
  • At 8:30 p.m., a subject reported hearing four shots, possibly from a rifle or from fireworks, in the 100 block of Audree Lane.
  • At 8:46 p.m., multiple reports of explosions, possibly fireworks, in area of Pebble Beach Drive and Pacific Avenue.
  • At 9:34 p.m., a report of someone lighting off fireworks in the 14400 block of Ocean View Drive.
  • At 11:08 p.m., a report of several subjects fighting in the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive.
  • At 11:24 p.m., a report of the subject fighting again in the 1000 block of Scenic Creek Drive.

Sunday, Aug. 30:

  • At 2:44 a.m., staff in the 600 block of Highway 101 reported bikes were stolen.
  • At 5:12 a.m., a resident in the 1600 block of Northcrest Drive reported hearing three shots in the area.
  • At 5:53 a.m., a resident in the 700 block of Highway 101 reported he caught someone trying to break into his trailer.
  • At 7:14 a.m., someone reported that two trek bikes were stolen off the back of his truck sometime overnight in the 100 block of A Street.
  • At 8:39 a.m., a report of a subject making a camp in a construction area in the 88800 block of Howe Drive.
  • At 8:54 a.m., a report of two bike stolen off the back of a vehicle in the 800 block of Highway 101.
  • At 8:56 a.m., a report from an anonymous subject who provided the possible location of two stolen bikes in the 700 block of Elk Valley Road.
  • At 9:04 a.m., a report of a male subject who appeared to steal a bottle of alcohol from a store in the 400 block of M Street.
  • At 9:42 a.m., a report of a 1995 Saturn SL stolen sometime overnight from a driveway in the 2400 block of Roy Avenue.
  • At 10:09 a.m., a report of a brush fire at 3rd and N streets.
  • At 10:31 a.m., a resident in the 300 block of Beckstead Avenue reported catching her juvenile neighbor selling possible drugs.
  • At 12:29 p.m., a report of a known subject shooting a firearm on the trails behind the dump in the 400 block of Elk Valley Road.
  • At 12:37 p.m., resident in the 1200 block of Blackwell Lane reported two suspicious subjects digging through lawn clippings claiming to be looking for their car keys.
  • At 3:17 p.m., someone reported an unknown male subject approached him in a park in the 88800 block of Howe Drive, offering to sell him drugs, then asked him for his phone. When the reporting person handed the subject his phone, the subject punched him then took off with the phone.
  • At 3:50 p.m., a report of a male subject, who appears to have been assaulted, running around a parking lot in the 100 block of L Street stating his car was stolen.
  • At 4:13 p.m., an officer was flagged down in the 300 block of M Street by a subject claiming he found a stolen vehicle.
  • At 6:01 p.m., a subject reported their vehicle was hit by an unknown motorist in the 300 block of Highway 101.
  • At 6:41 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of 9th Street reported a male subject took her mother’s vehicle and may be intoxicated.
  • At 7:04 p.m., a report of a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries at mile post 15 on Highway 101 in Klamath.
  • At 10:26 p.m., a report of two shots heard in the area of Weber Drive in Klamath.
  • At 10:41 p.m., a report of a stop sign blown down by the wind in the 10300 block of Highway 199.
